When it comes to looking for keyword tools, a quick Google search will show you that there are a million options out there, most paid, with a few freebies here and there. Depending upon what you want to do, some will work better for you than others. The one we will be looking at today is Jaaxy.
Jaaxy is probably one of the lesser known keyword tools, at least in terms of what you will typically see the ‘higher ups’ in online marketing using. That’s because the people who made it are the same guys who run Wealthy Affiliate, and they generally only promote it to their Wealthy Affiliate members.
Now, that doesn’t mean if you join Wealthy Affiliate you will have free access to Jaaxy. Nope. You get the standard 30 free searches just like anyone else. From there, you can choose to pay either monthly, which is around $30 a month, or a yearly fee for a slight discount.
Jaazy does offer a lot of variety when it comes to keyword search results. You can do long tail keyword searches fairly easy, though it sometimes offers some ‘off’ results when doing so. Once you input your keywords in the search tool, Jaaxy will come back with results for that keyword, plus a list of other ‘similar’ keywords. Those can also be really off at times, coming back with results that are nowhere near what you originally searched for.
Jaaxy will tell you how many pages on Google search results are using that specific keyword, how easy it will be to rank for it, and some domain ideas. Those are the basic results for each keyword search.
You are able to save each search as an excel spreadsheet. You can also save them to lists housed in your Jaaxy account.
Honestly, for the results you get, you could probably use a free tool, or at least a much less expensive one. Yes, with a paid membership you can get unlimited search results, which is great. The problem is, you aren’t really getting a whole lot of information you couldn’t find yourself.
Also, $30 a month is one of the more expensive online search tools. So there are definitely cheaper options. However, many of those options require you to outright buy the tool. So if you are only going to be doing keyword research for a short amount of time, then it might be worth your while to just fork over the cash for a one month membership and be done with it.
Support for Jaaxy can be hard if you are not already a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community, so that is something to keep in mind as well. Overall, the keyword tool is fair, but there may be cheaper or more fitting options for you out there.
